Coat beef in flour, salt and pepper and sauté in pan (garlic and onion powder can be added as well as beef stock powder)
Once brown, set aside.
Sauté 2 chopped onion, garlic, pepper. Add in tomato paste and put in beef. Add in 2 tbsp Worcestershire, 4 tbsp red wine vinegar or half cup red wine for more rustic taste. Add in half tbsp of basil, thyme, paprika, 1 tbsp 5 spice and a laurel leaf.
Add in 1 lt water, bring to a boil and transfer to a crockpot.
Add in mango chutney or hoisen sauce for added flavors.
Halfway, add in sliced carrots, potato and olives.
To serve, set aside sour cream with horseradish and some chopped chives.

Steamed fish with red pepper
Steam fish for 10 mins
In a bowl, combine:
3 tbsp fish soy sauce
Dash of sesame oil
1 tbsp brown sugar
4 tbsp stock
Set aside
Sauté In sesame oil chopped leeks, then set aside.
Add oil again and sauté :
3 cloves garlic
1/2 red bell pepper chopped
1 stalk celery
After steaming, retain fish stock and add on the fish sautéed items and leeks
Pour sauce on top

Bulalo with gravy
1. Par boil and put in pressure cooker beef shank. Keep 1 cup stock.
2. Marinate overnight with oil, garlic powder, salt, pepper, dark soy sauce
3. Next day, Add in pot olive oil, butter and sauté the beef, once all sides are brown, remove and set aside.
4. Add chopped 6 garlic, half onion and mushrooms. Add in cooking cream or 1 can Campbell's mushroom mixed with some hot water. Add salt, pepper, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Cook with beef until very tender.
5. Add fried garlic upon serving.

Remove from heat once color changes to pink.

Kinamatisan na Manok
Ingredients :
6 pcs chicken thigh, cut in half
6 Garlic cloves - chopped
1 whole onion - diced
1 stalk leek (white part only)
5 Mid size tomatoes - remove seeds and cut
2 Potatoes - cubes
1-2 patis
sprinkle thyme
4 tbsp cornstarch in 6-8 tbsp water as thickening agent.

5. add 1 tsp of patis
6. some thyme
7. add in hot water until very slightly covering the chicken in high heat
8. once boiling, simmer in low heat until cooked
